Long Term Project.
WalkerSport have aquired a 8616Km Ferrari 208 Turbo, this 2 litre V8 is quite a rare little thing, she has had a light knock in the O/S/F which has only damaged the box section wing carrier and nose of the car. The previous owner bought the car as a project, but died and the car was left (not the best conditions) for 7 years. Time for WalkerSport to bring her back to her former glory. She is HPI clear.
Specification;
Ferrari 208 GTB Turbo Nero with Tan Leather interior LHD. 1991 cc Ferrari V8 Quad Cam, Single KKK turbo charger which operates at tiny 0.6 bar. Engine derivative F106D, 220BHP and 1284kg's.
One of only 437 cars ever produced worldwide.

Other than surface corrosion, the rear of the car is pretty straight forward.
Interior will come back.
I am trying to decide to refurb the original O/S/F corner or cut it out and replace it.
The areas in primer are the focus areas for attention - the usual places.
At least this side of the car only requires minor refurb.
A quick vac and very quick wipe down shows the potential for the interior (which is complete just not all fitted).
I don't think a bit of WD40 will sort this! - Once again its not as bad as it looks.
07/11/2011 WalkerSport have aquired a new front end so we will replace the front chassis support section and O/S front wing and nose, we will also replace the front bulkhead and water gully as well, we also have a new deep front spoiler valance. We will focus on the bodywork first with an exact cut of the front section and blend of the new panels, mechanicals are easy! (Remind me I said that later on).
We plan to start her cosmetic restoration in February, the strip down process has begun, engine will come out shortly then we can start to get our teeth into this project. New windscreen and surround also aquired.
